We’re a group of creative professionals raising the bar on Informed Design™. We design human-centered brands, products, services, and experiences for leading companies around the world.

This individual will help create fit-for-purpose Service Design outputs that guide organizations to translate customer needs and pain points into business opportunities.

YOU CAN

  • Create fit-for-purpose service design outputs that guide organizations to translate customer needs and pain points into business opportunities.
  • Participate in and report on qualitative and quantitative research.
  • Ideate concepts for new products, services and service ecosystems that address true customer needs.
  • Prototype and test your work with real customers and client stakeholders.
  • Craft engaging and creative client deliverables, workshops and presentations.
  • Bring life to a vision with any audience.
  • Communicate service design concepts and practices with non-experts.
  • Thrive in making the complex simple and digestible.
  • Be flexible and able to adapt to changing demands.
  • Easily switch focus between the big picture at the critical details.

YOU WILL

  • Have a bachelor’s degree with 1- 3 years of post-qualification experience. Have a beginner’s mindset – is comfortable with the unknown and approaches new problems without assumption or bias.
  • Have a strong design voice and an informed point of view rooted in evidence and research.
  • Be knowledgeable in design research, analysis and synthesis to identify insights and opportunities.
  • Have experience with service design tools and methods. Confident using those tools with other disciplines.
  • Have a knack for succinctly capturing thoughts and expressing them to others. Must have strong storytelling skills.
  • Enjoy working collaboratively within interdisciplinary teams but capable of managing own workload.
  • Be motivated by the possibility of improving the human experience.
  • Believe that the world can be a better place and that service design can be a tool for positive change.


SUBMISSION DETAILS

PLEASE NOTE: This position is onsite in Atlanta, GA at THRIVE’s studio. It is not a remote position. No remote applications will be considered. Covid-19 vaccination required.

Interested candidates should submit a resume, and portfolio samples. Please limit submissions to 10MB. Submissions without a portfolio will not be considered.  Work samples should include examples of customer journey mapping, blueprint examples, etc.
