Justin Henry never stops thinking about good design and is incredibly passionate about what he does. His designs tell compelling brand stories, and his strength lies in encouraging beautiful form development in conjunction with design strategy and research—which he’s done across multiple industries, including furniture, consumer electronics, food and beverage, and medical device products. Justion helps brands develop an authentic voice, and translate it into holistic brand experiences in three dimensions.

Justin was a non-traditional student who enrolled at Cleveland Institute of Art (CIA) with a degree in manufacturing engineering, and pairs his engineering practicality with his creative education at CIA to create timeless contemporary designs that are truly fit for purpose. Prior to THRIVE Justin was at Little Tykes and was also a Quality Systems Technician at Babcock and Wilcox in his former professional career. As an Industrial Designer Justin has worked in important initiatives for world leading brands such as The Coca-Cola Company, Hill-Rom, AT&T and Libbey Glass. Justin graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Product Design and Automotive Design from the Cleveland Institute of Art and also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering and Management from Ohio University.

A furniture design enthusiast, one of Justin’s pieces the “Ribbon Bench,” is proudly installed in the Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) in Cleveland, inspired by the architecture of the building itself.
