Chief Operating Officer at THRIVE, Pete Srodoski has a multi-decade history of motivating and developing diverse teams and creating purpose-driven cultures. His extensive background in retail management and operations helped shape Pete into an entrepreneurial, forward-thinking leader with a strong expertise in business planning, revenue development, and change management. As a devoted husband and father of five kids, Pete credits his wife and fatherhood for his empathetic approach to his job. One of Pete’s core beliefs is that people genuinely want to do great work and it’s the responsibility of leadership to help support them.


With 15 years of retail experience, Pete worked his way from being a PetsMart Store Manager to a DICK’s Sporting Goods General Manager before holding several titles at King of Pops, including General Manager, Director of Operations, and Director of Sales. Additionally, Pete helped Steel City Pops transverse bankruptcy and orchestrate dozens of large deals with professional sports stadiums, American Express, and multiple universities to sell the popsicle brand. His time at King of Pops earned his team the Atlanta Civic Impact Award and further cultivated his passion for giving people the support needed to grow. His latest experience before becoming THRIVE’s COO was working as the Chief Executive Officer of Steel City Pops, a business in which he oversaw an operation of numerous locations and hundreds of employees located throughout the United States. He brings his ability to improve operating systems, processes, people development, and employee retention to his role at THRIVE and is passionate about developing fun, inclusive, and inspiring workplace cultures.


With 121 tattoos, Pete is quite possibly the world’s most decorated COO. His favorite tattoo is a teddy bear holding a ladybug, symbolizing his first born daughter Ava, whose name is on the foot of the teddy bear. He has three daughters and two sons, ranging from 2 to 11 years old. He’s a big fan of the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Chicago Cubs, which he balances out by winning in the business world. Pete also loves watching movies, building legos, hiking, kayaking, camping, going to Broadway shows at the Fabulous Fox in Atlanta with his wife, coaching his kids sports, and anything to do with Star Wars.
