Lastly, Hannah balances her time between recruiting established and up-and-coming talent at conferences, social events, internship fairs, and career fairs with maximizing current employees and nurturing their potential as long-term hires.

EXPERIENCE

A large portion of Hannah’s career has been centered around recruiting and sourcing talent for design-focused roles, ranging from UX and UI to program managers and qualitative and quantitative design researchers. The diverse range of roles she has recruited for in this space has turned her into a subject matter expert for each of the respective positions she has hired for. Hannah has also proven her ability to utilize data and specialized reports to develop strategic sourcing plans. To top it off, Hannah is skilled in navigating complex salary and total compensation negotiations, relocation packages, immigration regulations, and visa types. Most recently, prior to joining THRIVE, Hannah was brought in-house to Amazon as a Design Recruiter working exclusively to support the Alexa business lane by recruiting and sourcing design-centric roles. At THRIVE, Hannah relishes in the challenge of defining a clear talent and acquisition plan that suits both THRIVE and the wide ranging demands and needs of our client partners. To optimize employee engagement within our company, Hannah makes new hires comfortable, helps to keep open lines of communication across all departments and positions, and reinforces an environment of emotional safety and growth.

EXTRAS

In addition to being a full life cycle recruiter, Hannah is an outdoor enthusiast, a ramen and pho loving foodie, and a Trekie — she even named her cat Riker after Commander Riker from Star Trek! Hannah also loves Star Wars, anything Marvel, traveling, and is a self-described “metalhead.” On the professional side, she is passionate about design recruiting and innovation and enjoys participating in local events and looking at portfolios — something Hannah partially attributes to working in her dad’s design business growing up.
