OVERVIEW
Highly disciplined and laser-focused, Julia is a Design Researcher with an intensity that has translated to success in everything from her time as a professional soccer player in Sweden to her current career at THRIVE. She is hardworking yet is known to laugh all day long and remain positive under pressure.
EXPERIENCE
Julia received her BA from the University of Central Florida as a student athlete and her Masters in Design Management from the Savannah College of Art and Design. She started off working in Marketing Communications — specifically, advertising and social media — which gives her a unique outlook towards consumers. Some of her earliest experiences applying her Design Research abilities was for a Future Health x SCADpro, a sponsored project where she performed as a Design Manager, leading an interdisciplinary team of 16 students in collaboration with Anthropos, the Georgia Nurses Association, Navicent Health, Optum, Rimid, and United Healthcare. While playing professional soccer in Sweden, Julia developed an appreciation for the country’s minimalistic design style. She combines her leadership skills, work ethic, research background, and design aesthetic to help THRIVE’s clients gain the edge they need.

Julia enjoys running five days per week, hiking, surfing (a skill she learned when she was seven back home in Florida), traveling, reading, drawing, doodling, and listening to music.
