Beth Murphy brings nearly 30 years of new business development experience to her work here at THRIVE. As a former counselor and therapist, she attributes a high degree of emotional intelligence and intuition as keys to her ability to engage with prospects and understand their unique needs. But it’s also a genuine enthusiasm for communication and connection that drives her success.
EXPERIENCE
After receiving her bachelor’s degree from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, Beth worked as a private counselor and had a successful practice serving a wide range of clients before transitioning to a career in business development. In 1990 she started her own company — e.a. murphy & co. — and has been helping executives and organizations develop new opportunities and cultivate relationships to support their long-term success ever since, with a diverse clientele that includes many of today’s top industrial design firms. Beyond her extensive experience and intuitive skills derived from her therapeutic background, Beth’s high level of commitment and dedication to achieving results means in reaching her own goals, she ultimately helps businesses reach theirs.

An Ohio native, Beth now calls St. Petersburg, Florida, home, where she enjoys biking and swimming. She also spends her spare time satisfying her creative side: Beth is an abstract artist, primarily working in acrylics, and has exhibited in several art shows throughout the Tampa Bay area.
